DAVIN MCCOY AND THE COMING ATTRACTIONS | WEBSITE

“Sometimes I feel completely disingenuous, the one place I have never felt that way is in music”

“Sittin on the Dock of the Bay” in his sleep. The well of creative passion was beginning to seep. Born in Albany, Georgia and raised in separate households, Davin’s inherit gift and calling for music would finally manifest at age 12, when he found the guitar. Shortly thereafter, Davin began writing his own songs—musical emotion and expression akin to Cat Stevens, Van Morrison and of course, Otis Redding. After a short stint at the University of Hawaii, Davin succumbed to his calling and began his life-long dedication to writing and performing; to observing and inspiring. (Complete Bio)

DEEP FRIED FIVE | FACEBOOK | MY SPACE

The Deep Fried 5 were still celebrating the self released CD, Saturday Night Funk, Sunday Morning Soul, hitting the stage with six guys. The greatest thing about their retro 70’s-80’s funk style is that they are not a sampled artifact but have Dylan Stansberry beating the hell out of three Congas, Justin Martin on a Yamaha DX7, can we say Ready for the World?

Eric Koslosky alternating between Ernie Isley style lead guitar and vocals that would fit as an opener for Santana or Bell Biv Devoe for that matter. Andrew Muller kept the staccato single funk guitar lines letting Eric soar on the breaks and occasional lead roles. This style of music demands a strong Bass interaction since many of the bands from that era were known for their strong players like Bootsy Collins or Larry Graham. WET WILLIE | WEBSITE

Began as a thrown together blues-rock band during the magical Summer of 1969 "way down in Alabama"...(Mobile, to be precise). The original nucleus of the group that eventually became known as Wet Willie was called Fox. The first "gig" was a booking in Panama City, Florida at a club called the Oddessy, a geodesic dome right on the beach. For those who must have a concept, or reason and meaning behind every occurring work in any medium of art, the only one I can think of was "fun". Raw, hormonal...fun.

YONRICO SCOTT BAND | WEBSITE

By age seven, Yonrico Scott was playing professionally with several gospel groups in Detroit, Michigan – primarily, as a direct result of the unwavering encouragement and support of his late mother, Ruth Scott, a talented gospel vocalist and performer.

By age fourteen, Yonrico began private study with Motown drummer, George Hamilton. His musical accomplishments continued throughout college, and during his freshman year at Kentucky State University, he was voted, 'Drummer of the Year.' He later transferred to the University of Kentucky to study with Dave Davenport, Professor of Percussion and Principal Timpanist of the Lexington Philharmonic, where he received a B.A. in Performance Percussion in 1978. RANDALL BRAMBLETT WITH GEOFF ACHISON

These two headliners combine their virtuosic talents to produce one of the best live bands and live CD’s of the year!  Jammin' In The Attic, is an exhilarating collaboration disc between former Sea Level member Bramblett and Australian guitarist Geoff Achison, with the razor-sharp rhythm section of drummer and Grammy winner Yonrico Scott and bassist Ted Pecchio backing them up.  This band is a wonderful example of what can happen when two great musicians and songwriters put aside their egos and join forces.  The dynamic duo perform a combination of tunes from both of their careers, and with the band, play intuitively off each other in a beautiful display of telepathy.  (Promo)
