ROLLIN' IN THE HAY | WEBSITE

Combine the good times and instruments of a front porch hoe down with the muscle of a power trio, and the savvy of veteran touring musicians. Coat that with a little caffeine-laced three part harmony and you begin to understand the sound of Rollin' in the Hay.

This Birmingham, Alabama based band has become one of the forerunners in the "Newgrass" musical revolution in America. Their constant touring from colleges to concert halls has taken them coast to coast playing their souped-up brand of acoustic grassrock. | Complete Bio

SOUTHERN CULTURE ON THE SKIDS | WEBSITE

Countrypolitan transcends music. It's a lifestyle, not a category of music," says Southern Culture on the Skids front man, Rick Miller. "It's where rural and urban sensibilities meet. I mean, it's when you see trucker hats being sold in Beverly Hills boutiques or notice folks eating pork in Mebane, where I live, drinking a glass of merlot. Or best yet, when you see a motor sport invented by backwoods moonshine runners and bootleggers broadcast on Sunday afternoon into potentially every living room in America, there ain't no doubt it's a countrypolitan world and SCOTS' new album, Countrypolitan Favorites, is the soundtrack for it."

ROOMFUL OF BLUES | WEBSITE

Even though Roomful of Blues’ lineup has changed over the years, the band has always been one of the tightest, most joyful blues ensembles in the world. Currently an eight-piece unit led by guitarist Chris Vachon, the band has never sounded fresher or stronger. In 2010, singer Phil Pemberton took over the vocal duties, bringing his sweet and soulful vocals and adding another bright new dimension to the jazzy, jump-blues musical roots. Their winning combination of jump, swing, blues, R&B and soul remains their calling card, as does their ability to fill the dance floor. Along with new members, bassist John Turner, trumpeter Doug Woolverton and , longer standing members keyboardist Travis Colby, drummer Ephraim Lowell, baritone and tenor saxophonist Mark Earley, tenor and alto saxophonist Rich Lataille , Roomful keeps on rockin' in 2010.

VEGABONDS | WEBSITE

The Vegabonds formed in February of 2009, a combination of two bands and two new comers, and immediately started working on their first album. A mix of different musical interests laid the groundwork for the first album entitled, Dear Revolution. The Vegabonds are booked to record at Southstreet Studios in Nashville, TN during the fall of 2009 and the bands LP is set to drop in early spring. The band is based upon soulful lyrics, groovy rhythm, and funky jam sessions, allowing each member to bring their own personal flavor to a show each night. Influenced mostly by The Black Crowes, Gov't Mule, Kings of Leon, and Led Zeppelin, The Vegabonds feel like they are a different sound than heard before. The Vegabonds pride themselves in putting their own twist to every cover song they play, making each song sound like you just heard it for the first time, again. This has proven to be the bands biggest asset according to crowds, because it appeals to any age or generation. The Vegabonds are trying their hand at their own musical revolution.

HONEY ISLAND SWAMP BAND | WEBSITE

We started the Honey Island Swamp Band in the fall of 2005 after Hurricane Katrina left us high and dry but far from home in San Francisco. We’d worked together in New Orleans bands for years, but with no prospects of getting home any time soon, we thought we’d better cook up something new, and quick. A few days later we’d put together a song list, landed a weekly gig, and settled in to share a little taste of southern culture with our new west coast neighbors.

Thanks to those good folks in California, we made it through the lean times, had ourselves a good time, and made it back home in what seems like hardly no time at all. We hope you’ll enjoy listening to the Honey Island Swamp Band as much as we love playing in it. Come on out and see us soon.

HILL COUNTRY REVUE | WEBSITE

HILL COUNTRY REVUE is THE modern Southern Rock / Blues band for the new generation. Formed by Cody Dickinson from The North Mississippi Allstars in 2008, it features Chris Chew, Kirk Smithhart, Ed “Hot” Cleveland and Dixie Dan Coburn. The band’s debut album, ‘Make a Move’, was released by Razor and Tie Records in May 2009. “This is really back to the roots of blues,” says Cody of the upcoming record. “It's funky. Really nasty, that's the best way to describe it. Gritty, messy, stripped-down.” Hill Country Revue will tour the country up until the release of the record. For the summer of 2009 HCR will focus on festival and support slots. Fall 2009 will be comprised of a headlining national tour.

As part of the North Mississippi Allstars, Cody Dickinson has three Grammy nominated albums under his belt. He has shared the stage with artists as diverse as Kid Rock, Dave Matthews Band and Mavis Staples, and toured all over the world steadily since 1996, earning a legion of fans.
